Rezultate preconizate

·      Investigarea si gasirea parametrilor relevanti de fabricatie a substraturilor, care conduc reproductibil la un anumit nivel al pragului de distrugere in camp laser (PDCL).

·      Tehnologie de realizare substraturi optice de tip BK7 si de tip FS cu PDCL bine definit.

 

Stadiul actual privind implementarea Etapei  de executie nr. 2/2015

·      INFLPR a efectuat un studiu experimental pe probe de tip BK7 si FS pregatite de SC IOR SA pentru evaluarea impactului parametrilor procesului de polisare/ curatare asupra PDCL al substraturilor optice rezultate din procesul de fabricatie, prin masurari PDCL la lungimea de unda de 1064 nm si evaluarea calitatii suprafetelor prin microscopie de forta atomica si de tip Nomarski. Au rezultat urmatoarele:

- Procesarea substraturilor optice in trei etape de polisare (P1-P3) conform tehnologiei SC IOR SA amelioreaza semnificativ caracteristicile suprafetelor de lucru rezultate din procesarea in doua trepte (P1-P2), deoarece duce la o reducere a rugozitatii suprafetelor (de exemplu, rugozitatea rms Rq se micsoreaza cu  70%) si la o crestere a PDCL cu pana la 19%. Masurarile au fost efectuate pe probe de tip J-BK7 si H-K9L.


Caracterizarea calitatii unei suprafete optice de tip FS SQ1 procesata in tehnologie

P1-P3: interferograma suprafetei si rezultatele masurarilor care atesta conformitatea cu standardul ISO 10111 (masurari S.C. IOR S.A.).

 

- Metoda de curatare finala a suprafetelor de lucru rezultate din tehnologia de fabricatie P1-P3 cu solutie neutra Tickopur R30 a dus la o crestere a PDCL cu 23% in raport cu metoda D&D si cu 17% in raport cu metoda Tikopur TR3-1 pe substraturi de tip FS. De asemenea, testele efectuate pe probe J-BK7 au evidentiat valori PDCL semnificativ ameliorate (cu peste 30%) in raport cu cele obtinute cu metoda D&D. Ca urmare, metoda de curatare Tickopur R30 a fost selectata pentru a fi  utilizata in pregatirea suprafetelor optice pentru operatia de depunere pentru substraturile optice standard (de tip BK7 si FS).

- Testele efectuate pe 4 tipuri de polisare P3 au indicat ca tehnologia P3 de tip Ct1 este cea mai convenabila pentru a fi utilizata in tehnologia de realizare a substraturilor optice cu PDCL inalt si bine definit deoarece duce la valori inalte ale fluentei laser la pragul de distrugere (H0(108)= 97 J/cm2 si H50(108)= 152 J/cm2, pentru 0% si respectiv 50% probabilitate de distrugere, la durata de puls laser de 10 ns), fiind totodata cea mai economica (un singur tip de abraziv, durata minima de polisare (330 min.)).

 

·      Pe baza rezutatelor obtinute in cadrul activitatii 2.1, INFLPR a definit o tehnologie specifica de realizare a substraturilor optice de tip BK7 si FS cu PDCL inalt si bine definit, tehnologie obtinuta prin optimizarea si completarea tehnologiei standard de fabricatie P1-P3 utilizata de SC IOR SA. Aceasta noua tehnologie specifica, numita P3-RCL (Rezistenta in Camp Laser), se caracterizeaza prin utilizarea unei polisari fine P3 de tip Ct1 si a metodei Tickopur R30 de curatare finala a suprafetelor optice rezultate din procesul de fabricatie. SC IOR SA a preparat cate un set de 5 probe identice pentru fiecare tip de substrat (BK7 si FS) procesat in tehnologie P3-RCL.

 

·      Caracteristicile DCL ale suprafetelor optice rezultate din tehnologia P3-RCL definita in cap. 2.2 au fost evaluate de INFLPR prin testul S-on-1 pe 5 substraturi de tip BK7 (H-K9L) procesate de SC IOR SA prin aceasta tehnologie specifica. Rezultatele obtinute demonstreaza eficienta tehnologiei P3-RCL in realizarea de suprafete optice cu caracteristici DCL inalte si bine definite: fluenta maxima la pragul de distrugere H0(108)= 100 J/cm2, cu o abatere standard asociata de 12%; fluenta maxima la pragul de distrugere H50(108)= 142 J/cm2, cu o abatere standard asociata de 9%. Valorile PDCL obtinute pe suprafete optice de tip BK7 sunt semnificativ mai mari in raport cu specificatiile PDCL furnizate de marii producatori de componente optice pentru acoperiri dielectrice depuse pe substraturi de tip BK7 sau FS (≤ 15 J/cm2 la lungimea de unda de 1064 nm, durata de puls de 10 ns, 10-20 Hz frecv. de repetitie). Ca urmare, performanta DCL a substraturilor procesate cu tehnologia P3-RCL face ca nivelul PDCL al unei acoperiri optice realizate pe acest tip de substrat sa fie determinat practic in totalitate de tehnologia si de materialele utilizate in procesul de depunere.

      Testarea substraturilor de tip FS procesate in tehnologie P3-RCL este prevazuta pentru luna decembrie 2015.



·      INFLPR a efectuat teste preliminare privind  performanta DCL a acoperirilor rezultate din tehnologia de depunere standard a SC IOR SA la 1060 nm - 1064 nm. Testele S-on-1 au fost realizate pe acoperiri antireflectante (AR) depuse de SC IOR SA pe diferite substraturi de tip FS. Rezultatele obtinute sunt promitatoare (Parametrii H0(108)= (12 ÷18) J/cm2 si H50(108)= (25÷33) J/cm2, la durata de puls de 10 ns).

 

·      INFLPR si SC IOR SA au stabilit tipul de proces de depunere analizat in continuare (AR dublu strat la 1060 nm – 1064 nm), parametrii ce vor fi controlati in timpul procesului de depunere si materialele de depunere, caracteristicile acoperirii AR (reflectanta la 1060 nm - 1064 nm, nivelul performantei DCL, rezistenta la umiditate si incercari mecanice).

·      Dr. Alexandru Zorila a prezentat lucrarea "Analysis of cumulative versus ISO-recommended calculation of damage probability using a database of real S-on-1 tests” la cea de a 48-a editie a Conferintei Internationale SPIE Laser Damage – Annual Symposium on Optical Materials for High-Power Lasers, numita si Boulder Damage Symposium deoarece are loc anual in localitatea Boulder, Colorado, SUA. Mentionam ca Boulder Damage Symposium este cea mai importanta conferinta internationala din domeniu, unde este revizuit anual stadiul actual in domeniul DCL si al opticii laser de mare putere.

·      A fost trimis spre publicare in Proceedings SPIE articolul intitulat "Analysis of cumulative versus ISO-recommended calculation of damage probability using a database of real S-on-1 tests”, Paper 9632-54, autori Alexandru Zorila, Aurel Stratan, Ioana Dumitrache, Laurentiu Rusen, George Nemes.

·      INFLPR a actualizat pagina web a proiectului LIDOPTICS (link direct http://isotest.inflpr.ro/lidoptics.html), care poate fi accesata si la adresa  http://isotest.inflpr.ro/,  sectiunea LIDOPTICS Project.

 

Concluzii

        Consideram ca sunt indeplinite in totalitate si in bune conditiuni activitatile de cercetare-dezvoltare prevazute in Planul de Realizare al Etapei de executie nr. 2/2015 a proiectului LIDOPTICS, in conformitate cu obiectivele si cu rezultatele preconizate ale acestei etape.

       Pana in prezent nu sunt de semnalat factori care ar putea intarzia derularea planificata a activitatilor proiectului.

Pentru INFLPR (CO),     BP = 397 212 lei;     Cof. =          0 lei;     Total = 397 212 lei.
